Cinemax宣布预订由林诣彬执行制片﹑导演，以及《黑吃黑 Banshee》主创Jonathan Tropper当编剧，从李小龙所写项目当灵感的试映集《龙战士 Warrior》。该试映集背景在美国内战后，旧金山的唐人街；《龙战士》讲述一个年轻﹑从中国远道而来的武术达人， 发现自己卷入了唐人街的血腥战争中。 《龙战士》是李小龙生时用了多年研究的项目，但最终并没有制作及发表，是他的女儿李香凝在收拾他的遗物时发现大量关系本计划的手稿，后来她在15年联同制片公司向Cinemax销售该计划。
