本作品是以佐佐凉子获得第10届开高健纪实文学奖的《angel flight国际灵柩遣送士》为基础的人性电视剧。该剧由古泽良太和香坂隆史执笔剧本，描绘了跨越国境将遗体送到家人身边的国际灵柩遣送士的形象。

That man, very much changed by his own shattering experiences, is Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon). These two historically based strands come together in an unexpected, thrilling finale.
