　　Meanwhile in the exotic climes of neutral Lisbon where the exiles, spies and criminals of Europe rub shoulders with each other and their enemies, Hagen Forster (Tom Wlaschiha) discovers a lethal plot to steal a fortune in plundered war time gold. These discoveries and aspects of his own history deriving from dark experiences on the Eastern front, lead him to question his own actions and moral path. They also lead him to a shadowy figure caught up in a conspiracy that might change the course of the War - for the better. That man, very much changed by his own shattering experiences, is Klaus Hoffmann (Rick Okon). These two historically based strands come together in an unexpected, thrilling finale.

　　Twice a month, Mrs. Bixby travels to Baltimore to visit an elderly aunt, her only living relative. Or so she tells her dentist husband. In fact, she visits the Colonel, her rich lover. He finds an ally in his stepsister, Max, who helps him harness these powers and uncover the secrets behind the mysteries and tragedies of his community … all while he tries to come to terms with what it means to be Ben.

　　改编自《真爱如血》（True Blood）作者的三部曲小说，本剧于去年夏季首播，最终拿到平均420万/1.1的收视成绩。较同期的《困兽》（Zoo）和《夜班医生》（The Night Shift）相比，《德州午夜》在夏季档中表现还是可圈可点的。
　　新一季的变数就是本剧的原剧集运作人退出；包括弗朗索瓦·阿诺德（Franois Arnaud）、迪兰·布鲁斯（Dylan Bruce）、帕里莎·菲兹-亨利（Parisa Fitz-Henley）、阿莉尔·凯贝尔（Arielle Kebbel）和詹森·刘易斯（Jason Lewis）等在内的原班人马都确认回归，但尤尔瓦斯克斯（Yul Vasquez）和莎拉·拉莫斯（Sarah Ramos）或将不会回归。
