　　该剧根据弗兰克·塔利斯的小说改编，由《神探夏洛克》的编剧史蒂芬·汤普森负责撰写剧本，故事设定在20世纪的维也纳，讲述师从弗洛伊德的年轻医生Max协助奥地利警探Oskar破案的故事。Max对于人类行为的深入理解，让他为一些神秘莫测的案件提供了不一样的侦破角度。
