迪斯尼频道去年六月份宣布，著名青春偶像剧《男孩成长记》（Boy Meets World，1993-2000）的正宗续篇《女孩成长记》（Girl Meets World）获得正式剧集预订。根据该剧的描述，《男孩成长记》主人公Cory和Topanga「有情人终成眷属」之后，他们的女儿Riley Matthews又到了他们当年相恋的年纪。
以92岁高龄于2006年逝世的日本女性时装设计师小筱绫子（同时也是著名设计师小筱弘子、小筱顺子、小筱美智子三姊妹的母亲）为原型，讲述主人公小原糸子（尾野真千子 饰）身为母亲和服装设计师，一生充满泪水与欢笑的人生奋斗故事。 由NHK大阪放送局制作，也是五年来首部以大阪府作为舞台的晨间剧。大阪局于2011年1月13日召开记者招待会说明制作概要，2011年3月7日正式宣布起用尾野真千子为女主角。[1] 原本计划2011年9月26日开始播出，但由于东日本大地震的发生，前两档《铁板》与《太阳公公》的播放时间都顺延一周，因此《康乃馨》延至10月3日才首播，总集数比原计划缩减一周（6集）。 本剧为首部完全采用非交错扫描式（Progressive）摄影机拍摄的晨间小说连续剧，在此之前NHK已有白洲次郎、坂上之云等特别剧以及2010年以后的大河剧（如“龙马传”、“江～公主们的战国～”等）采用。 另外，本剧各周的副标题皆是以花语来命名，例如第一周的“あこがれ”（向往）即为向日葵的花语。
讲述因为28年后现身的亲生父亲，人生开始转变的女人，和她一直隐藏真实面貌的父亲之间的故事。
Kaewsai just graduated from Faculty of Communications and started working at a broadcast station owned by Mutthana, who is her father&♯39;s lover. Her parents got divorced when she was a child and she was raised by her grandparents. Mutthana had only one son, Siwa, who is arrogant and hates Kaewsai&♯39;s father because he thinks that he stole his mother&♯39;s love. Siwa came back to Thailand after studying abroad for many years and meets Kaewsai in a party. He&♯39;s impressed with her strong and smart personality, but starts to hate her after he found out who her dad is. Kaewsai has to prove herselft to everyone who thinks she only got work at the station because of her connections, while facing many mean and selfish people. Other executives at the station have a grudge against Siwa&♯39;s mother so he also has to prove himself when he&♯39;s cast as the main actor in a lakorn directed by Kaewsai. He starts to fall in love with her unexpectedly, and she also falls for him after they get close.

Zac is a teenage boy who decides to camp on Mako Island, unaware that three mermaids, Sirena, Nixie and Lyla, who are guardians of the island, are watching him. That night, when the full moon rises, the boy comes into contact with the magic water of the Moon Pool. The following morning, Zac wakes up discovering he has become a merman with a fish-like tail and the ability to control and manipulate water. His new-found merman abilities will cause problems for the mermaids. The three mermaids, curious about living on land, are transformed into humans while in the moon pool during a full moon, now having the ability to live like humans.
