织夜列车

　　故事围绕着六对夫妻和情侣的亲密生活与性幻想展开，其中包括了角色扮演、暴露癖还有禁欲生活。

　　为了筹措争取女儿明蒂监护权官司的资金，理查在怀抱星梦的女演员莎夏的介绍下，加入一场长达24小时的舞台剧演出，希望借此获得高额的奖金，但理查却万万没想到，他即将参与一场真枪实弹的血腥屠杀秀……。

　　一对夫妇被困在孤岛上，一股不可预见的力量找上了他们，而女人正在变得越来越脱离自己，她不再是自己了……

　　Eric and Quentin, hosts in a children&♯39;s show, are at the peak of their television careers. On a night that is a little too crazy, they drink too much and do a little rubbish. Unfortunately, someone films their "exploits" and broadcasts the video over the Internet. It&♯39;s bad buzz, the dreaded phenomenon for a public figure. Their producer gives them 48 hours to restore their image, otherwise they will be fired. The more the duo tries to get by, the more they accumulate blunders, as during the funeral of Quentin&♯39;s grandmother.

　　迭戈大夫见惯了生老病死，对别人的痛苦漠不关心。在他的病人莎拉试图自杀后，迭戈受到其男友的职责，声称他该对此负责。两人对峙之际，一支枪指着迭戈。几个小时之后，迭戈只能够记得有枪声枪声响起，而他受到的冲击不仅吃了颗枪子那么简单。他发现自己拥有了救世主一般神奇的能力，只要通过触摸就能够解除别人的痛苦，然而这种魔力也有着可拍的黑暗面……

　　Synopsis
　　"Falsely accused as the murderer of my own husband... Oh, the cruel machinations of fate!" A female teacher (Lee Yong-ae) gives shelter to an escaped convict, but her husband, misconstruing her intentions, reacts violently and accidentally stabs himself to death in the process. The teacher is charged with her husband&♯39;s murder, but fortunately the prosecutor on the case is a former student of hers, of whom she had taken painstaking care when she was working at an elementary school. Remembering her kindness to him, the prosecutor uncovers her innocence in court, and she is acquitted of the crime.

　　A Public Prosecutor and a Teacher is familiar to us for the performance of Shin Chool, Korea&♯39;s last silent movie narrator (known as "byeonsa"in Korean). Numerous critics have recommended the film, praising it as "a silent movie that allows us to examine the narrator-accompanied method of 16mm films" (Chung Jong-wha), "the work of Korea&♯39;s last silent movie narrator" (Kim Hong-joon), a movie that "reflects the public&♯39;s consciousness and has great historical value" (Lee Seung-hun), and "the archetypal new-school film" (Chung Sung-il). As evidenced by such commentary, A Public Prosecutor and a Teacherenjoys greater recognition for its historical value as the only surviving silent movie in Korea than for its artistic or technical aspects. What is ironic is the fact that this recognition derivesfrom a production and screening method that fell behind the times, as sound films (or "talkies") had already become the norm when the movie was first made. Its inclusion in the list is therefore based on its historical, social context rather than on the film itself.
